The Festival of Colors (aka please throw dirt in my face)
My point is my friends would run up to people with chalk and want them to throw it at them, and when I did not behave this way, for some reason, I was the weird one. I don't understand it and I don't think I ever will.
To explain my crowd surfing outburst earlier, a gang of six to seven Indian guys, who probably put on this festival, picked innocent enough looking girls in the crowd and would say, "she is next" and next thing you knew, you would be on top of a crowd worrying about your shoes being stolen and thrown on top of the roof.
Anyhow, this happened to my roommate and me. After my three seconds spent crowd surfing I learned a valuable life lesson. If you don't want to crowd surf, don't lay flat, and then the one person holding you will only have two choices, 1. put you down or 2. throw you on the crowd.
Unfortunately, for me, the later happened to me; but fortunately for me (and the girls I was thrown on), I am gifted in falling and I managed to land on my feet with minimal physical contact with anyone else.
I know this post sounds sarcastic and negative, but I actually had a lot of fun at the festival. I would like to conclude that it was a four time better than the "typical Provo weekend." (Sometimes when you put things in quotations, you sound/look/feel/are more believable.)
