The first thing I did was change into shorts

First of all, I came home to Houston:
I discovered a new talent I have, it is called sleeping while sitting up in public and not realizing it until much too late. I have fallen asleep every day like this since I came on home to this wonderful town called Friendswood.
Incident number one: on the plane ride home- I actually fell asleep at least four times on the plane ride- about every time Joyce- the loud stewardess, passed, I woke up (I think I put too many commas in there but it just sounds right to me). I think I was awake for a total of ten minutes the whole ride home. Once I was awake looking out the window as we were circling around preparing to land, and next thing I knew, I was awoken by my head bobbing up and down in my seat as the plane hit the runway. Incident number two: sacrament- only for a real short time, don't worry. Incident number three: riding in the car with my mom, I was awoken by my brother kindly placing his finger in my elbow pit, it's fine.

Here's how our family pictures turned out:
The missionaries told us we were the worst kids to have their picture taken. They don't understand.

household item + elephants = nothing better

I thought I would share one of the things that has brought me an abundance of joy in the last couple days.
This elephant is currently the wallpaper for my desktop at work and on my laptop. that is how much I like it. Why do I like is so? I'm not sure- all I know is that I catch myself staring at it at work, more than is healthy. I just realized today that it has an eye, how did I not see that before?

On top of they household item elephant, my mind has been thinking about a couple of other things lately:

  • Allergies- why they happen and why at morning and at night, every morning and every night
  • Tea Parties- this includes doilies, princess squares, crumpets, and parlors
  • My job- how great it is, really I have the best job ever. the things I end up complaining about are so little I laugh at myself.
  • Paranoia- sometimes I feel like everyone is looking and judging me all the time and I don't like it, not one bit. I'm not guilty of anything- I promise.
  • Finally developing as a high schooler- staying up way too late doing nothing, sleeping on top of my covers in my clothes, not brushing my teeth, having an urge to sneak out of the house. Yup, I like to do all of those things now. I think I will be 30 before I develop as a college student.

Exact Timing

I am trying this thing called clock in and out of work at exactly the right minutes. It is like a little game I play with myself. Kinda like the game that I play where I prentend like I am really poor and only eat cereal, or like the game where I try to make my bed every day.
Right now I have three minutes until I need to clock out.
